Our Barong Dresser is as exotic and dramatic as the traditional Balinese dance after which it was named. The
Barong Dresser will fill any home with an ambiance of adventure, yet coordinates perfectly with traditional or contemporary
decor. Solidly constructed of orchard-grown mango wood, one of the most environmentally-friendly woods, the bold design of the ribbed carving and the rubbed and turned feet is
reminiscient of elegant Southeast Asian temple architecture. It's deep dark chocolate brown tones give it a striking
and rich character, and the lustrous clear-coat finish protects the wood and resists moisture and water marks. This
is a quality piece, finished on all sides, even the back. Barong is the king of spirits in Balinese mythology after
whom one of Bali's most famous traditional dances is named. Barong is the foremost god of the Good and a protector
spirit variously represented by the boar, tiger, dragon, or most commonly, the lion. What better guardian to watch over
