Handmade Burmese Lacquer Box

Painstakingly handmade lacquered bamboo takes 8 days to complete, applying layer upon layer of natural varnish from the lac tree.  Can be used as a sophisticated and unique business card holder, playing card box, cigarette box, or storage box for change, keys, or any small items. Two pieces: solid glossy black base with removable cover in deep browns with iradescent gold diamond design on top and birdseye designs along edges.  Because each box is individually handmade, designs and colors will vary slightly item to item.
